For the second time, the DC 37 Retirees Website won a First Award for General Excellence (Website) from the Metro New York Labor Communications Council. The award was presented at Metro's 46th Annual Convention on June 3, 2022. The website also received a First Award in 2021.

“Our thanks to Lesly Williams, Vice President Publicity & Public Relations, and Molly Charboneau, an activist and member of the association, for their dedication and commitment to the Association and its website,” said DC 37 Retirees Pres. Ed Hysyk. “Congrats on the first-place win for General Excellence (Web) in the Metro NY Labor Communications Council’s journalism awards contest.”

The website at https://www.dc37retireesassociation.org launched in spring 2020, a month before the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown, and has since become a vital point of contact and source of information for DC 37 Retirees.
