AFSCME Retirees

The Retirees Association of DC 37 AFSCME is part of the nationwide network of AFSCME Retirees -- made up of hundreds of thousands of retired public service workers across the country who have come together to fight for retirement security. We are retired nurses, social workers, sanitation workers and correctional officers to name just a few of the thousands of public service jobs we did while working, but we haven't quit just because we're retired.

AFSCME Retirees is part of the American Federation of State, County & Municipal Employees (AFSCME) -- Discrict Council 37's national union -- the leading voice for public service workers and retirees. AFSCME Retirees began operation in 1980 and operates more than 300 state and local groups nationwide.
