As a result of COVID-19, the DC 37 Retirees Association office is officially closed until further notice. In-person general membership meetings and committee meetings are also canceled until further notice. However, the Executive Board is conducting its monthly meetings remotely by teleconferencing and monthly membership meetings are being held remotely on Zoom. Below is an update on Association dues, and info on how to reach the Association and DC 37 services.
DUES UPATE
For those members that pay their annual Association dues by check, please note that during the spring of 2020 we received more than 1,600 checks in the mail, which were secured in our office. We eventually processed these checks, and your membership was not interrupted. However, based on the coronavirus quarantine and our previous experience with disruptions caused by the 9/11 attacks and Hurricane Sandy, we urge members to sign up for dues checkoff where the Association's monthly dues is deducted from your monthly pension. Dues checkoff is the smart way to go!
